Sammantha at 3 months! Holy Cow!!!...and Camarron is in the Honor Guard

So about 2 weeks ago Camarron started doing the Honor Guard. He is still doing his other job (weapons mechanic for the F-16's) as well, but he does it in shifts. He has 2 weeks at the Honor Guard, 2 weeks on call while he is at his other job, and 2 weeks where he is just a weapons mechanic. He loves the Honor Guard. He was a little nervous when he started because you have to do all of the movements so precise and perfect. But he is excellent at it! I was able to go to a lunch with him at work a couple of days ago and after lunch I got to watch him train. It was so cool to see him do this. The head of his flight and also the head of the Honor Guard Drill Team kept telling me how quickly Cam had caught on to everything and how well he was doing. Usually they train a new person for a couple rotations (2 months) before they have them do any ceremonies, but Cam did one after being there about 4 days. I'd say that he caught on pretty quick! I love Camarron and am so proud of what he is doing. He isn't actually in any of these pictures but I wanted to have something up so you could see what he does.

These clips from YouTube show a little bit more. The one that is a demonstration of a funeral is the National Guard and not the Air Force, but they do basically the same thing. However, I think that the Air Force has different movements that they do when they are shooting and when they are folding the flag that looks nicer than the National Guard. But it still looks pretty cool and you get the main idea.

Sammantha turned 3 months yesterday. She is the cutest little girl I have ever seen in my life! She is growing like crazy (especially her hair) and her personality is starting to blossom. Her new favorite thing is to scream. She figured out how and she does it all the time when she is upset. She is usually pretty happy and she talks A LOT!!! We just can't get enough of it. She also likes to stick her tongue out and have you play with it...kind of strange...but super funny to watch. She is sleeping through the night (for the most part) and she sleeps in her own crib in her own room. HOORAY!!! She is almost laughing. Yesterday was the first real laugh we heard, but it was not very long. I almost started to cry. Camarron and I love her so much! She is the biggest joy in our lives and feel so blessed to be her parents.

Here she is at one day old...

And look at her now.

I went to the park with a couple of friends in my ward that also have little ones and we decided to try out the swing. I think she is still just a bit too small, but we're almost there.

Of course she has a whale outfit. She actually has several, but this is the only one she fits into at the moment.

And she is having a whale of a time.

This is her favorite toy, she loves it!

Ok, so it might be her favorite toy because this is the only thing I give her to play with at the moment.

But look how much she likes it! :.)

Even if she didn't have any hair she'd still be the cutest baby ever.

I won't lie though, Cam and I couldn't stop laughing after we put her had on. She looks so much different without hair.

She loves to talk to her dad...

This is almost a laugh. :.)
